Vacation

Whew...I'm behind on blogging again. Let's just say it has been a crazy but wonderful summer and things are starting to settle in just in time to consider back-to-school. I'm not quite ready to go there so I'm going to re-live some of our summer here. First up: our vacation.

We were once again blessed to vacation with our good friends from Minnesota. We chose a vacation destination very near and dear to my heart: my parent's home. It sounds strange I know, but we had a fantastic time relaxing, swimming, fishing, exploring, and visiting some local attractions. My parents took advantage of the fact that their home was being taken over by eight kids and four adults by taking a trip to Ohio and then Colorado that week.

 

 

 

 

 

 

We went to the Cat Visitor's Center, the zoo, and a children's museum. We spend an evening fishing and literally pulling little catfish out of the water on first cast. We did lots and lots of swimming and bonding. And of course there was Rage. We had a fantastic week together that went by way to quickly.
