I have a wonderful blessing to share with you all today. We are having a baby! We have found ourselves blessed with another child who is doing wonderfully and will be born sometime in the first half of February!

We are of course overjoyed and the kids are thrilled. I've had a "rough for me but mild to those who
really have morning sickness" first trimester and seem to be on the other side of that now. The girls are of course hoping for another girl and Micah is of course rooting for a boy... A boy would certainly simplify room sharing arrangements, but we are blessed either way.

As you can see we have had a number of ultrasounds already. There is a story behind that and I will blog about it at a later date. All that you need to know is that baby is healthy and growing. I am 16 weeks along and starting to show, so I figured I was overdue to make this more public announcement.

I honestly have treasured each day of this pregnancy (I'm not sure I've treasured all the sleepless nights, though). I think that is why I have been relatively quiet about it. It feels sacred somehow. That doesn't mean it has been secret, just that I hadn't yet broadcast it across social media, until now.
I would appreciate your continued prayers on our behalf.
I told a friend that, while I'm no Mary, Mother of God, I totally get the whole treasuring-up-and-pondering-in-my-heart thing. It's such a beautiful blessing. Praying for little baby!!
