We had a wonderful Holy Week and Easter celebration this year. It was truly a blessing to be in worship and with family. This year our church added an Easter Vigil service which we took part in. It began at sunset on Saturday evening and was a beautiful service that the kids loved as well. I think it may be my new favorite - it ranks up there anyway. One part of the service was the Service of Baptism - in our case a remembrance. We all were able to go up to the font and use the water to make the sign of the cross and remember our Baptisms. Mariana was so excited to do this and she kept making the cross on her forehead. When we got back to the pew she excitedly and animatedly announced to me, "I got Baptized!"

Easter services were wonderful as well and then we spent the afternoon with Matt's family.
