Yep, we took our kids on a brewery tour. They endured it claiming that it stunk there and was boring with three exceptions; the horses, the escalators, and the trolley ride.
I actually find the history way more fascinating than the process of making beer, though the sheer volume they produce here is pretty crazy. The stable was a really cool building and it was fun to see the horses there. The kids loved riding the escalator way up to the viewing window at the bottling plant and of course the trolley ride back was so cool. Mari kept announcing that she rode a trolley! Needless to say we were exhausted after the ballpark tour, the Arch, and the brewery tour so we enjoyed our lemonades and hit the road for home just as the rain started.
