Last Friday, the first graders took their first field trip and I had the privilege of driving and participating with them. They had been studying plants and seeds during science and we spent the afternoon hiking around a local garden looking for seeds. Our group had a wonderful time!
The kids found acorns, hickory nuts, walnuts, red bud seeds, buckeyes, berries, flower seeds, and more.
The class brought their friend Mateo along for the hike.
