Auction

Friday night was the local Lutheran High School's annual auction. This was our second auction. Last year we attended with a two week old Mariana. This time we hung out with good friends, enjoyed a great meal, and even spent a fair bit of money. We ended up winning three "baskets" during the silent auction. We probably wouldn't have tried so hard for those baskets had we known that we were going to bid on and win a new patio set on the live auction. Oh well, it was a fun night and a great cause. Here's the new patio set on our front porch.

Hailey and Micah were so excited about the new furniture. We rushed to beat the rain and cleaned up the porch and then enjoyed watching it rain from the comfort of our improved front porch... until the cold front got the best of us. I'm excited to spend some time out there this spring, summer, and fall.
