I am the proud mother of a first grader! After my unsuccessful campaign to have her repeat kindergarten (not for her, just for me,) Miss Hailey is moving on. She is now a reader, has successfully learned to count much higher than 20, can add and subtract, and write. She has certainly come a long way this past year. This summer she will be taking ballet and practicing her new found skills. Perhaps we will even try to teach her to tie her shoes.
The last day of school was already a over a week ago. We had closing chapel and then a carnival to celebrate the end of the school year and raise money for one of the moms who is battling cancer. It was a very fun day and Micah always enjoys when he gets to do big kid things.
