Island Living

One of the items on my Christmas wish list this past year, was a kitchen island. I had received some money that we put towards the purchase of the island and after a great deal of research, we had Any Style Cabinetry build us one for our kitchen. We were finally able to pick it up on Sunday afternoon from the Third Sunday Market, where I first encountered Any Style Cabinetry. It was so worth it. We are only two days into island living, but I am thoroughly enjoying the extra storage space and the extra counter space. What a difference it is making in food preparation. I am thrilled! And the craftsmanship is exceptional as well. This piece is SOLID, so solid that I couldn't even help to move it in. It is made out of reclaimed barn wood and has just the right amount of rustic feel (read the kids and my hubby really can't damage it in a noticeable fashion). So delighted!
