Hailey, Micah, and Mari are all thrilled she is here. They all love to hold her and are fascinated by all things baby... including her belly button stump, breastfeeding, and of course poop. Hailey was so excited to have another sister. Micah started off unsure since he had wanted a baby brother, but on day five declared that he had been "tricking us" all along and he really wanted a baby sister. I think he's smitten. Mari, as expected, has had the most mixed reaction. It's obvious she loves her new baby sister, she is just struggling just a bit in the behavior department since mom isn't quite on her game yet.
I can't believe she's here! We are blessed!
