Hailey's last day of first grade was last Friday. They had their closing chapel which was a wonderful service in which our pastor blessed our teachers and our teachers gave individual blessings to each of their students. It was an emotional ending to a fantastic school year. Micah's last day was technically Thursday, but we had been attending chapel all year long and so Friday was a fitting end for him as well.
Our summer plans include VBS, a vacation with our friends from Minnesota, summer camp for Hailey, National Youth Gathering for Matt, a couple of mission trips, gymnastics class and whatever else we can manage to squeeze in. So much for a summer slow down, but it should be wonderful!
