Today I am thankful for my church family and faithful pastors. It is
such a blessing to hear the word of God in worship and spend time with
fellow believers in Bible Study. And I am always thankful when my
children behave and even participate in worship. Some weeks are better
than others and this was a pretty good one. Our only hiccup this week
wasn't behavior related, but potty related. Miss Mari is potty training
and we braved church wearing underwear (plus other appropriate clothing,
of course.) She made it without an accident, but asked to go to the
bathroom right as the communion liturgy ended-leaving me with a decision
to make; go up for communion and risk her having an accident, or miss
our "turn" to take her to the bathroom. I opted to take her to the
bathroom and we still managed to make it up front for communion.
