30 Days of Thanksgiving: Day 6

Today I'm thankful for my son. He turned five at the end of October and we celebrated with a family party. He decided to have a cookie cake this year because he really doesn't like traditional cake. It was a hit!

At 5 Micah is a blast. His favorite things are playing iPad and Leap Pad - he is my electronics kid. He is a great big brother to Mari and is looking forward to having a new baby in the house. He hopes it is a boy so that he can have bunk beds in his room - his backup plan is to have bunk beds with daddy. He is a great encourager and helper. He has lots of questions and comments about any subject that crosses his mind - and he certainly thinks that he is the expert. He is doing great in preschool and has lots of friends. He is such a blessing to our family.
