Easter

Prior to Easter Hailey and I had a girls afternoon and got haircuts. Hailey loved having long hair, but her hair is on the thin side and seemed to be in a constant tangle unless it was braided. She had it cut to just below her shoulders and I think it is adorable. And bonus, she can now brush her own hair! I am also enjoying having a hair style again after going a year without a cut - time just gets away from me and ponytails are easy. I already have another appointment made so perhaps I can keep it together this time!

Holy Week and Easter were such a blessing this year. I answered a lot of questions from Hailey and Micah about what was going on and why we were doing certain things which was fun. We managed to make it to the 8:00 am service on Easter morning - no small feat to accomplish on my own. I know my fellow church professional wives understand. After the 10:30 service, we were able to leave for my mom and dad's - we were late to Easter dinner, but my mom and sisters had put on a feast - so good. The kids played, did several egg hunts and we took the opportunity for pictures. I haven't seen the pictures from my sisters' cameras yet, but I hope they got some good ones...Enjoy mine!
