Super Why is a kids reading show on PBS. The kids watch it occasionally but aren't die hard fans. The basic premise is that the Super Readers look to books to solve their everyday dilemmas. Mostly they cover traditional fairy tales, nursery rhymes, and fables. At at point in every story one of the characters gets "stuck" in their story; saying they can't change because "that's not what my story says." And the Super Readers, using their super reading abilities get in there and change the story by swapping one word for another.
I have told you all of that, to tell you this...
Last night, Micah was standing on our couch, when I asked him to sit down on the couch he replied with, "but Mom, my story says, 'the boy stands on the couch.'" In true Super Why fashion, we swaped out the word "stands" for the word "sits" and changed his story.
The whole thing cracked me up. Sometimes I really enjoy not knowing what is going to come out of their mouths next.

That's SUPER FUNNY!!!! We love that show....and I love that he had his own story...so cute!
