Word of the Day

The word of the day is wembly. Micah uses this word to describe his favorite blanket...the one his Great Aunt Nina crocheted for him. "Mom, I need my blanket, you know, my wembly one." The other day when we were baking I got out a cooling rack. He ran his hand over the top of it and declared it wembly too. It just reminded me that I should write some of these down before I forget them. I can't think of anymore Micah-isms. Most of his are based off of Hailey's.

I know we are in the middle of a gorgeous spring week, but this picture was taken last week...

These are some of my favorite Hailey-isms. Though she doesn't say most of them any longer....She called hot dogs, hog its; she made up a food called biscatsa and used to request it at meal times; and she still calls a back pack a back cap. And when she says Mari's full name she often adds a t, and we can't seem to get her to stop. So it is Marianta instead of Mariana. And one more Hailey-ism. Amn't; as in "No I amn't" It is her contraction of am not. I haven't heard it in a while, but she used it last night.
