The Story Bible has a wonderful feel to it. It's definitely a children's Bible, but it really maintains a solid Scriptural foundation. I'm not sure I'm explaining it well...but it still feels like a Bible because it is.
My First Hymnal was a pleasant surprise. When I was looking at it online, I liked the style of the artwork and I was hoping it would be useful for learning hymns. I have been pleasantly surprised by how much we have all enjoyed using the Psalms, prayers and hymns during our devotion time. Hailey and Micah love to select hymns and though our singing is sometimes downright awful, it is always a joyful noise. We have heard that there will be a CD to go with it soon for us who sometimes struggle to maintain the proper melody from memory and our limited ability to read music.
