Rah! Rah! Rah! Go Blue!

Hey girl, do your thing, do your thing, do your thing, hey girl, do your thing, do your thing, switch. I wake up with this cheer in my head, I go to sleep with it echoing in my mind...It's very catchy.

On Monday Hailey participated in a cheerleading clinic. It wasn't that it was cheerleading that caught our attention, it was that it was a one day opportunity to try something new and was fairly inexpensive...perfect for Hailey. If she decided she wouldn't participate we wouldn't be out much.

But we shouldn't have been worried. She was so excited to go and even more excited to tell us all about it. They spent the day learning cheers, dances, and playing games. She has spent her time since cheering, dancing, and jumping all over the house. Thus the Hey Girl cheer echoing through our minds and halls.

At the end of the day they put on a performance for the parents, and on Friday they will be performing at halftime of the JV basketball game. Considering she has never learned a routine before and she's five, she did a pretty good job and is of course, adorable. And by pretty good job, I mean she tried, and by adorable I mean she was totally the cutest peanut out there! (but I may be a bit biased)

I was so happy that she had such a positive experience. Sometimes it is a lot of fun to watch her grow up!
