1, 2, 3, ...

I absolutely cannot believe that this is Thanksgiving week. I honestly still feel like it is the end of September. I am hoping that I can get in the right frame of mind to celebrate and enjoy the coming Thanksgiving, Advent, and Christmas seasons. I'm sure that I will get there, it is just hard for me to believe that there is just over a month of 2011 left.

I don't know how it happened, but Mari is 8 months old now and her crawling skills are improving slowly. Micah is  being exceptionally sweet and funny and relishing his role a big brother, and Hailey is still working hard and enjoying school. I've been trying to help her work on her numbers, something she struggles with. For some reason she gets to 19 and then usually says 100. We have been practicing 20 for a few days and we are making progress, but we aren't quite there. It just doesn't seem to be clicking in her head. I know that we will get there, it can sometimes just be frustrating. On the flip side, she is spelling all of her word wall words like she's been doing them forever, she is able to sound out simple words, and can outright read her word wall words.
