It's Done! It's Done!

My new headboard is finally finished! It only took a little over ten months from start to finish. But I'm so excited to have a headboard and even more impressed that Matt and I built it ourselves. He should get most of the credit though because he sanded and stained it by himself. (Thanks honey!)This project taught us that it can be really difficult to get a project finished with three kids and a crazy work schedule.

So without further ado...



The plans were from ana-white.com. She has tons of build it yourself projects from beds to tables to bookshelves and more. And most of her plans are for the novice builder. You can save a ton of money building it yourself. I have a huge list of furniture that I want to build from this site. Given the length of time it took to get this project done, I'm not sure how successful we will be.
