By the Chimney with Care
This year, I decided that we needed some new stockings. I skimmed through Pinterest for some ideas and settled on a burlap stocking. I wanted our names on them but didn't feel I had time to ask a family friend to do them with her embroidery machine. So once again I decided to turn to Pinterest for a quick lesson on hand embroidery. I'm pretty proud of how they turned out. The stocking shape isn't as great as I would have liked, but I think that they will improve with use as the burlap is rather stiff.

they turned out super cute! great job. i'm very impressed with the embroidery.
ReplyDeleteDid you clip the curves? When I've made stockings that is the key, making sure they are clipped in the right way. I once forgot and had to open the entire thing all the way back up to fix it....ugh. They will round out some too after they have been filled. Good Job!
