It's time for a Favorite Foods Friday - Christmas Candy Edition! Today's recipe was given to us by our dear friend Joyce, a wonderful lady we met when we were in Salem. These Crockpot Candies are seriously addicting, and I don't even really like peanuts! Micah enjoys these treats, but we can't seem to convince Hailey to try them. She's already made up her mind that she doesn't like them. Warning, they don't photograph extremely well...so sorry about that.
Crockpot Candy
2 lbs. of chocolate almond bark
12 oz. milk chocolate chips
1 bar of German chocolate
24 oz. of dry roasted, salted peanuts
Layer ingredients in a crockpot as listed above. Do not stir. Cook with the lid on for 2 hours on low. After cooking, stir together. Then drop by teaspoonfuls onto wax paper and allow to cool.
FYI: These candies freeze extremely well. Hope you enjoy!
