I have a lot of catching up to do. We have had a very busy weekend and week with a family reunion and a visit with some good friends of ours. I have lots of pictures to share too!
On Saturday and Sunday we were in Mt. Vernon for the Moore Family Reunion. We had a wonderful time playing outside, eating delicious food, and enjoying great company. Matt's aunt and uncle host the reunion every two years and family comes together from all over the country.
This year it was HOT, everyone was dripping sweat and doing everything they could to stay cool. I was using Mari as an excuse to slip inside to the air conditioning every once in a while.
Some people camped there overnight and got up early for some fishing. We, however, chose to stay in a hotel and got up early for a dip in the pool.
Did I mention it was HOT!
Every reunion there are silly prizes given out for different categories. The past two reunions I have had the youngest child there and have been the recipient of a dollar store piggy bank with and "educational fund" inside - 5 pennies. We have a talent show too. This family can be a lot of fun!

Thanks for sharing. Looks like you had a great time! I like reading about other people's lives and stuff, gives me ideas of things to do with my own family!
