At the beginning of September I hosted our first book club meeting for the women of our church. I was so excited to get things underway with this group and our first meeting certainly was not disappointing. We chose our first three books for October, November, and December and I'm really pleased with the choices and looking forward to starting the first book later this week (because it just arrived in the mail yesterday, yippee!)

In other book club news, Hailey's school started a family book club and we will be reading
The Chocolate Touch as a family this month as well. So much reading fun going on here! And Hailey is really starting to get into the idea of reading. She has been "reading" to Micah the last couple of days (using the pictures to tell the story) and has really been enjoying listening to me read to her about Miss Ramona Quimby. I love it!
