Date Night

Friday night after our apple orchard adventure, we dropped Hailey, Micah, and Mari off at a friend's house while we went on a date. (Thanks again, by the way!)

We had talked about going to see the movie Courageous, but it was already sold out in our theaters so we decided to go out for dinner and discuss our plan. We went to a great restaurant that serves fire-grilled pizzas among other things, but we decided to go with the pizza. Romantic, I know. But it was really good, and they were "gourmet."

After dinner we decided to go to this big huge enormous sporting goods store that has a lot of inexpensive games scattered throughout the store. They have arcade style shooting games, driving and sporting simulations, and rollerball. We opted to play rollerball which is similar to bowling, only the ball is smaller and has no finger holes. For the record I crushed Matt 137 to 102. Then we rode on the ferris wheel - I told you the store is enormous. We did a little browsing and found the most hideous pair of overalls I have ever laid eyes on. Matt, of course, thought they were awesome. So we decided to put it to a facebook vote. I'm pretty sure I won that one as well.

We finished the night with some frozen yogurt. I must say it was one of the best dates we have had in a while.
