Picture Day!

Today, thanks to Groupon, we got Mari's six month pictures - her first "semi-professional" portraits. A couple of weeks ago I purchased my first Groupon, a voucher for 6 enhanced sheets, one single-image CD, a 10x10 multi-image print, and free sitting fee for $40 at JC Penny's. That's where we had Micah's 2 2 1/2 year pictures taken and where I was hoping to take Mari. We bought almost the same thing for Micah - perhaps and extra sheet or two and no CD for around $90 so I knew this was a great deal.

Mariana was super cute at her session, but really apprehensive and we were unable to coax a single big smile out of her. Oh well, we still got some great shots that captured her personality. I can always get the smile at home now that we have a great camera. Micah went along with us and was so well behaved. He told the photographer that he knew how to smile.

So without further ado, I'll show you the only picture I can post on my blog - it is the one image I got on the CD so I have the right to share it...
