New Teeth

Last week I was holding Mariana and playing with her a little. When she was laughing she opened up her mouth really big and I noticed her lower gums were swollen and upon further inspection I found I could see her two bottom teeth just under her gums.

That certainly explains why she can't keep her hands out of her mouth.

And I certainly wasn't expecting teeth quite this early.

On Friday morning I checked them again and one had broken through. On Saturday morning I checked them again and the second one had broken through. So she has two teeth now!

Because I though this was really early,  I went back and checked when Hailey and Micah each got their first tooth. They were both five months old. Mari is 4 1/2 months old so she really only beat them by a few weeks.

I'm just hoping the top ones take their sweet time, because getting bit is not fun!
